We’re here for you.

The VABT provides emergency financial assistance to members of our community who have suffered a health crisis or medical emergency.

In addition, we recognise and understand the devastating impact that the coronavirus and subsequent government restrictions and shut downs have had on the performing arts industry. As such, we are temporarily broadening our reach to provide additional support to even more members of our community.

Further, through our membership in the Alliance of Australasian Performing Arts Benevolent Funds, we are currently accepting applications for COVID-19 Assistance from Tasmanian-based performing arts workers.

All applications are assessed on a confidential and case-by-case basis by our volunteer Committee of Management.

To apply for assistance, or to find out more information on each of the types of assistance currently available, please select from one of the assistance programs below.
